Especially dear, everyone´s friend and joy of our life Daily Rays Midnight Prince ”Onni” had to leave us truly unexpectedly, this can also happen….
Onni left us a beautiful memory, which was full of life, and when we remember him, we will never be alone…
Thankfully remembering our Dear Onni and deeply missing him, Helena & Juhani and Daily Rays family

Our own Sun Shine" Daily Rays Snow Crystal "Veera" 3rd of December 2000 - 13th of January 2011, was a Golden who gave so much and ask so little.....

Thankfully remembering and deeply missing Dear Veera, Helena & Juhani and Daily Rays family
"Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
Do not stand at my grave and mourn.
I am the dew-flecked grass at dawn.
Where tranquil oceans meet the land
I am the footprints in the sand
To guide you through the weary day.
I am still here; I'll always stay.
When you wake up to morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there – I did not die."

Sulo lives in our memories...

Our beloved Lorinford Harlquin "Sulo" is now gone
(16.7.1992-21.5.2005). The great character has left us but his memory will never
die. It is difficult to believe that Sulo, who lived his life enjoying every
minute and giving us an unmeasureable amount of love and joy is no longer here
with us. We will hide the memory of Sulo deep in our soul, we will be joyous and
proud of having spent so many years filled with happiness with him. The days
with Sulo were full of mutual love and affection.
Grieving deeply but at the same time thanking for this unique golden gift life
has given us and which will carry on through Sulo's offspring here in Finland
and all over the world.
Missing him greatly,
Helena & Juhani and the Daily Rays family

Breeder & owner: Mrs. Monica Everett-Monks
Sulo's breeder Mrs. Monica Everett-Monks:
In addition to the above, Lance was a most gentle, loving dog and very easy to live with. He was reowned for his excellent temperament and character which has been passed on to his many progeny. He was a true golden in every way, and lived life to the full. We are proud to have pred him, and although we miss him terribly, we know his name will appear on pedigrees for many years to come, so he will never be forgotten.
COUPLE SHOW CRITIQUES OF LANCE
Judge Mrs. Lucy Bacon. CC/Best of Breed/Gundog Group
Super head, dark eyes, good mouth, straight forelegs, good bone and feet,
well sprung ribs, balanced, short coupled body, strong muscular hindquarters, so
alert and at one with his handler during movement which could not be faulted.
One of the few with correct tail carriage, all this finished off with a
beautiful coat so well presented. In the challenge stood out for the CC and my
co-judge agreed to BOB, also best gundog.
Judge Mr. Ron Hibbs. CC/Best of Breed
The last time I judged him was two years ago when I made him best puppy
dog, he has fulfilled his early promise, dark golden, extrovert lad full of
quality, pleasing head and expression, good shoulder placement, well balanced
overall picture, correct action from strong hindquarters, CC and with my
co-judges agreement BOB.
Judge Mr. John Tiranti. CC/Best in Show at the Golden Retriever Club Show
from an Entry of 661 Goldens
- This was a really big, unexpected win!
This dog knew it was his day and asked to be put up, in absolutely immaculate
condition, well muscled and moved with drive, covering the ground with ease,
lovely head and expression, good neck and shoulders, level topline, strong
quarters, well let down hocks, neat feet, CC which gave him his title and BIS.
Judge the late Mrs. Irene Broomhall. CC/BOB
Another marvellous class with five champions present. What can I say -he
just came, saw and conquered, I have not judged him since he was a puppy and he
has fulfilled his early promise, I was pleased he was in full coat and looking
the part. He had it all for me on the day, pleasing head, neck and shoulder,
topline, bone, feet and moving well, true golden colour that gleamed under the
lights.
Judge Mrs. Madge Bradbury. CC/BOB
Surely now at his best, looked so mature, in full coat, gleamed in the
sun, good overall balance, good head and expression, straight front, firm mature
body, level topline, and most lovely tight feet (sadly lacking often today) and
he moved truly at all times.
Judge Mr. D.Price-Harding. CC/Reserve BIS
Handsome looking dog, mid gold, well balanced head on good shoulders,
deep chested, short coupled, well up on pasterns, good tight feet, good strong
quarters, moved well, pleased to award CC.
Judge Mr. Ron Hare. Reserve CC at 9,5 years old
